What does your job entail?

Selling new and used Renault cars and managing the daily running of Renault showroom.

Has your role changed since you joined Charles Hurst? If so please explain

I started as store man then a sales man and now I'm showroom manager at Renault Belfast on the Boucher Road.

What did you do prior to joining Charles Hurst?

I was a van driver for Phillips Datsun.

What is your favourite part of your job?

My favourite part of the job is having customers return year after year and these customers becoming personal friends.

What is your favourite part of your job?

I enjoy when everything regarding lodgement agrees and all the cash sheets have been inputted and posted to the relevant stock numbers. When everything adds up.

What do you enjoy most about working at Charles Hurst?

I have worked in Charles Hurst for so long and have had some ups and downs, I can honestly say I have loved working here. Especially talking to the old timers like me and talking about the past. I think I have a good way with all my work mates.

What advice would you give to someone starting their career at Charles Hurst?

Be willing to listen, work hard, be understanding with your other workmates and hopefully have a long and satisfying career.

What has been your most memorable moment (to date) working at Charles Hurst?

It has to be when I was tied to a chair and pushed around the site just before I was getting married! That was a memorable day. Also my long service award when I got my gold watch and my two year old daughter joined in on the fun.
