LAND ROVER general model review
It is a very exciting time to be a Land Rover dealer right now with the forthcoming launch of the new Freelander2 and sales of the Discovery 3, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover soaring well above expectations.
In the compact 4x4 sector, the Japanese opposition are worried about Land Rover’s latest Freelander 2. They have good reason to be. This car defines its genre. Whilst it retains the chunky good looks of the MK1 version, this latest Freelander has been imbued with a far more premium look and feel.
Land Rover’s award-winning Discovery 3 offers bold design and combines luxury with unrivalled off-road ability while the fabulous Range Rover Sport offers excellent on-road performance and its off-road abilities leave many rivals floundering.
Sitting right at the top of the range is the peerless Range Rover, a magnificent car and surely the king of all off-roaders. Of course, we must not forget the tough, dependable Defender, the model that the military and relief agencies use all over the world.
