NISSAN general model review
Nissan’s all-embracing range includes the compact Micra, the family-friendly Note, the gorgeous 350z Roadster and Sports Coupe, and the stylish QASHQAI, a family-oriented vehicle combining all the best attributes an all-wheel drive family hatchback and a road-orientated compact 4x4.
Nissan also offers no fewer than four-excellent off-road models starting with the X-Trail, consistently voted the top compact 4x4 by the motoring press, available in front wheel drive and four-wheel drive form. The larger, highly capable Pathfinder, has a spacious, practical interior and it’s available as a five or seven-seater.
With quick performance the sleek Murano is more tuned for on-road use. Drive is directed to the front wheels in normal conditions, only being sent astern should things get slippery.
Nissan’s tough Patrol is for those who need a serious 4x4. It’s an outstanding towing vehicle and highly efficient when crawling through axle deep mud. Finally, there’s Nissan’s well-specified Navara Pick-up, available in Double Cab or King Cab form.
