Chrysler's worldwide sales have been beating market estimates, and by doing so have maintained an upward curve that has been increasing over the past four and a half years. Chrysler's sales trends have surpassed the projections made by market analysts, and the company has reported its highest vehicle deliveries in the US for 12 years.
A large contribution to Chrysler's continued success has been its ownership of the popular Jeep brand, which has proved popular across the world, including in the European regions. Chrysler has recently announced that the Jeep brand is on track to sell over one million units before the end of 2014.
Chrysler's sales during this period have risen 20 percent, taking advantage of motorists finding the modern economic climate more appropriate to purchase a new vehicle. October 2014 will see Chrysler officially combine with Fiat; together, the two will form the seventh-largest vehicle manufacturer worldwide. Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat-Chrysler, announced his five-year plan to energise the company's prospects and boost global growth in May 2014.
