Kia have launched their new version of the 5-seater supermini the Kia Venga, and this time it's more stylish, more comfortable and comes with a range of safety features. First unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October the Kia Venga has undergone quite a few transformations to give customers more options when choosing their perfect supermini.
All 11 variants of the Kia have been restyled to give them a fresher, sportier appearance. The front end of the Venga has been given a more rounded front bumper along with a new main grille, the famous Kia 'Tiger Nose' has been incorporated with a high-gloss black mesh and a chrome surround. The Kia logo has been moved from the middle of the grille onto the bodywork, and the lower air intake has also been redesigned so it can now house LED daytime running lights. The new grade 2 version Venga also features brand new 16-inch alloy wheels with five triple spokes. The Kia Venga comes with two all new paint colours – Planet Blue and Dark Gun Metal which will replace the Space Blue and Sirius Silver of previous models.
As well as having a newly restyled exterior the interior of the new Venga has been styled to give customers a more comfortable and pleasant driving experience. The cabin of the new Venga is one of the best in its class and rivals many C-segment cars. A high roofline and longer wheelbase allows for more head and leg room, and split rear seats can increase space by up to 1,253 litres when the boot is not needed.
Japanese manufactures Kia have always been at the forefront of new technology and safety systems and the new Venga models have a raft of new innovations not seen in previous models. For your safety Kia has now fitted Tyre Pressure Monitoring to all models, along with six airbags, active head restraints and two ISOFIX child-seat mounting points. Each model now also comes with many features to make driving as pleasurable and comfortable as possible, standard across the range is a driver's seat adjustment, steering wheel adjustment, electric front windows, steering wheel mounted audio control and electrically adjustable heated door mirrors
The new Kia Venga comes with the choice of four engines including two petrol and two diesel engines each which have torquey and are fuel-efficient, ensuring excellent driveability and low running costs. As with all new Kia vehicles the Venga comes with a seven year/100,000 mile warranty (subject to terms & conditions) which can be transferred to future owners should you wish to sell the car.
