Unmistakable Maserati Design
The traditions of Maserati are clear to be seen in the design of the new Ghibli S sports saloon. References to the GranTurismo and the A6 GCS Berlinetta are found throughout the streamlined silhouette to create an alluring GT car featuring top-quality performance.
The new Maserati Ghibli S is captivating just like the original 1976 Ghibli, the dominating nose meeting the distinctive Maserati front grille and now aggressive front headlights. Other design features include the frameless door windows, tapered boot and optional coloured brake calipers to complement the range of alloy wheel options.
The 2.979 litre Twin Turbo V6 engine delivers thrills with each touch of the accelerator. It delivers a powerful driving experience and can produce up to 410 HP at 5,500 rpm. Innovative solutions include the high pressure (200 bar) direct injection system which improves combustion at all rpm resulting in greater fuel efficiency.
The new Ghibli S features lightweight Brembo dual-cast disc brakes and a sophisticated suspension system designed to reconcile comfort with sporty handling. Weight reduction has been a focus as many components made of aluminium.
Inside, the Ghibli S is a pure Maserati. Soft seating leathers accompanied by traditional stitching are standard on the S model and can also be used on the dashboard and doors to create an original interior environment.
The long wheelbase gives the Ghibli S one of the roomiest interiors in the entire sports saloon category. The intuitive Maserati Touch Control interface features a large 8.4" display screen for access to on-board devices and entertainment.
