Nissan X-Trail Scores All Five Stars in EuroNCAP Rating

After its successful launch in Europe earlier this year, the New Nissan X-Trail has been awarded the maximum 5 stars by independent safety organisation EuroNCAP. The New X-Trail features a host of superb safety features from the brands acclaimed Safety Shield including Forward Emergency Braking, Driver Attention Alert, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Warning and Blind Spot Warning.

During the impact tests the X-Trail scored maximum points for adult protection including front, side, and knee protection. As you would expect from Nissan they also scored maximum points in child protection with both dummies tested being properly contained in their protective shells of their restraints, minimizing the risk of head contact with the car's interior. Finally the X-Trail scored top points for the protection the bumper had to pedestrian's legs.

The EuroNCAP ratings come after the Nissan Qashqai and Nissan Juke also recently scored the maximum 5 stars for passenger safety. The recent ratings demonstrate that Nissan is committed to making its cars as safe as possible for passengers and pedestrians.
