Master Technician

Landrover Belfast

Job Role: To join the busy workshop team as a Master Technician, acting as a point of knowledge and expertise to the department whilst carrying out motor vehicle servicing/repairs to approved standards

Your Responsibilities:

  • Carry out diagnosis and undertake a wide range of servicing and repair work on customer vehicles
  • Ensures effective use of technical knowledge and skills enabling efficient, economic and safe servicing and repair of customer vehicles
  • Acts as a coach and point of reference for colleagues
  • Set a standard of excellence for work carried out and customer service
  • Completes repair and service records/ other appropriate activities the Manager requires
  • Actively supports company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information
  • Analyses work orders carefully to understand a vehicle’s condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and what work has been agreed to

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Master Technician, 3 years minimum with electrical and diagnosis skills
  • Master Technician training preferred
  • A minimum of City and Guilds /NVQ Level 3
  • Diagnostic experience essential
  • A full and valid driving licence
  • Committed to providing first class customer service
