Your Role: To manage all reception enquiries and transfer calls to the relevant departments.

The successful candidate for this role will be required to work on a part-time basis from 10.00am to 2.00pm Tuesday and Thursday and be flexible to cover holidays etc.

Your main duties:

  • Managing customer calls and enquiries professionally, effectively and ensuring they are referred to the most suitable individual
  • Building a rapport with customers while identifying what assistance or information they require
  • Ensuing confidentiality is maintained in line with company policy and legal requirements
  • Liaising with suppliers and head office
  • Building strong and effective relationships with department managers and staff

What we’re looking for:

  • Smart and professional appearance
  • Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) Math and English grades A*- C
  • Self-confident; positive and proactive approach to work
  • Self-motivated and can work independently
  • Flexibility and works well in a Team
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
  • Discrete with sensitive information

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Organised; can maintain composure while juggling numerous tasks

Prior experience working on a switchboard would be advantageous
