Rental Advisor

Van Centre, Belfast

To manage all operations in relation to the Rental Department, dealing with customer enquiries and providing costs and advice on specific requirements.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • To administer and record all rentals (daily, weekly, monthly), including invoicing, insurance etc
  • To ensure all monthly targets / budgets are achieved
  • To ensure rental fleet is properly maintained, well presented, taxed and up to date PSVs
  • To assist with marketing / advertising
  • To review the fleet size on a regular basis, discussing any changes with the managing director
  • To regularly review rental charges, implementing changes where necessary
  • To work with the rental manager with a view to increasing business
  • To help implement and maintain the Company’s Health and Safety policy
  • Processing payments and ID checks correctly
  • Opening and closing the branch when the manager is off
  • Recharging of damages and claims
  • Resolving problems and delivering outstanding customer service
  • Daily reports and stock allocation

  • Minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade A* - C, or equivalent
  • Reliable and able to work using own initiative
  • A full and valid UK Driving License is essential
