The stars of Arsenal men & womens team (and Annalese) get ready to take the parking challenge
Arsenal stars Danny Welbeck, Aaron Ramsey and Santi Cazorla got a lesson on just how difficult parking can be – especially when sat next to a professional stunt driver. The stars were recently invited by Citroen to take part in a parking challenge to help launch their new #ParkingHero campaign which aims to help educate and inform drivers of best parking practices. The boys were joined on the day by Alex Scott and Jordan Nobbs from the Arsenal ladies team along with their 'new signing' Annalese Ferrari. What the boys didn't know was that they were actually being set up by the ladies and that Annalese was actually an undercover stunt driver. Annalese got into the front seat of a dark blue Citroen C4 Cactus to show Welbeck, Ramsey and Cazorla her driving skills. As they took off Annalese flew around the course surprising her passengers who were shocked by her fast paced driving and parking, with Welbeck at one point screaming 'let me out, let me out'.
On the course Annalese had to first of all show how to reverse park into a goal, then reverse and front park into a trolley bay without hitting any trollies, while being hit with flying footballs. As the Arsenal boys screamed away Annalese showed them her excellent parking skills easily maneuvering around the course without trouble. After the course was completed Welbeck said he was 'well fooled' while Cazorla got out the car saying 'I can't walk'.

Citroen created the video along with a series of others featuring Welbeck, Ramsey and Cazorla in the New Citroën C1, showing off their parking skills. All of Citroens latest models are available with parking aids such as a full-colour reversing camera and rear parking sensors. Citroen are encouraging the British public to get involved in their #ParkingHero campaign by sharing their parking heroics on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Using #ParkingHero people are being asked to upload pictures of their impressive parking feats for a chance to win to win an experience fit for a hero, including a New Citroën C4 Cactus for the weekend. You can find out more about the campaign by visiting Citroën's UK social channels.
James Parfett, Communications Director at Citroën UK, commented; “At Citroën we're always looking at how we can make life more fun, informative and interesting for people. Our parking campaign #ParkingHero is a perfect example. Now in our seventh season as Arsenal's Official Automotive Partner, we thought it would be a great opportunity to do something a bit different and we knew the players would take the prank in good spirit. It's been a great team effort working with the Arsenal Ladies, and I'm sure the men's team will want payback at some point."
