Charles Hurst Jaguar are proud sponsors of the Lisburn Central Primary School P7 team who made it through to the finals of the Jaguar Primary School Challenge UK National Final 2019 which were held June 11th at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon.

22 schools took part in Northern Ireland from which 2 made it through to the UK finals.

The Jaguar Primary School Challenge is a STEM competition, open to students aged 6-11 years old and involves designing and manufacturing the fastest car possible within a set of rules, following the design and engineering processes employed by real engineering companies like Jaguar Land Rover.

Team ‘Thunderbolt’ from Lisburn PS designed and built their very own race car using innovative design software and technology which was then raced on an official Jaguar Primary School Challenge 20m track.
