To join the Motability Scheme, you must be in receipt of one of the following allowances:

The Higher Rate for Mobility of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA)

The Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)

The War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)

The Enhanced Rate of Mobility on the Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

If you have a child aged at least three who claims the Higher Rate for Mobility on DLA. As their parent or legal guardian you can apply for the vehicle on the child's behalf and for their benefit
You will need to have at least 12 months on your allowance when you apply

If you decide you would like to ORDER THE VEHICLE you need to bring the relevant paperwork to the showroom:

What you will need to bring:
ONCE YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY ACCEPTED THE VEHICLE WILL BE ORDERED
Motability will send you a PIN number to enable the person with a disability to e-sign for the vehicle when it arrives. When the vehicle arrives into the dealership, your Motability specialist will telephone and make a suitable date for you to collect and sign for your vehicle.
If you can bring your Motability PIN with you and once you have read the agreement and are happy with the vehicle you just key in your PIN number and take delivery of your new vehicle.
