Charles Hurst Jeep lands a knock out with World Champion Carl Frampton
Ahead of his title-defending fight in February, current IBF World Super Bantamweight champion gears up to hit the road in the new Grand Cherokee.
Local hero and World Champion boxer Carl Frampton was yesterday revealed as the new brand ambassador for Charles Hurst Jeep. The 27 year old Belfast boy who is currently the IBF World Super Bantamweight champion was welcomed by the staff at the dealership on Boucher Road, Belfast, who said he was an ideal candidate for the ambassador role.
Carl who was born and brought up in Tiger's Bay is a former Commonwealth Super Bantamweight champion who has been boxing for the last 20 years. Carl is managed by fellow Irishman and boxing legend Barry McGuigan who has helped him claim his world titles. The unbeaten boxer will take to the ring again next month as he defends his World Champion title against American Chris Avalos. The fight will take place at the Odyssey Arena, Belfast on the 28th February.
As Carl excitedly picked up the keys to his new Jeep Grand Cherokee the brands flagship model, he said of his new role as ambassador: “To be asked to become a brand ambassador for Charles Hurst Jeep is a great honour, and while I don't plan on landing any punches, there's plenty of space for my belts!"

Carl will work with the Charles Hurst Jeep team on a whole range on new projects to promote the iconic 4x4 brand.
