Jeep were the first ever manufacturers to produce the SUV back in 1941 when the created the Willy's MB Jeep for the U.S Army. Now they have taken a step into the very popular small SUV market with the launch of the all new Jeep Renegade.
The new Renegade has been designed to expand the Jeep heritage with a new class of SUV, the Renegade is smaller than previous models and features fresh new styling. Jeep hope the new modern styling will and size will appeal to the more youthful and adventurous customer.
The Renegade will still have the iconic Jeep seven-slot front grille which sites under a new bonnet and new projector headlights. The Renegade also features the unique 'My Sky' roof system which provides customers with open air freedom by letting them stow away the electric sliding glass roof in the boot on the cold winter days.
The new design continues inside the cabin, ergonomic front seats provide both driver and passengers with the ultimate in comfort whilst travelling. The interior has a rugged yet soft feel to it with major surfaces such as the sculpted soft-touch instrument panel are intersected with bold functional elements like the passenger grab handle. The Jeep is as practical as it is stylish, it features a flexible interior package that includes a removable, reversible and height-adjustable floor panel. The front seats are also adjustable and can be folded forward when not in use for more cabin space.
The Renegade features many technologies only found in upper-segment vehicles. The award winning UConnect Access is included which allows the car's occupants to directly contact emergency services by pushing the Assist button on the rear-view mirror. Uconnect Access applies the same logic to roadside assistance.
