Sheer Sophistication

Bold exterior styling, highlighted by the sculpted front facia and signature grille, are complemented by a wide rear stance. At the rear, distinctive new features includes a sleek one-piece rear light that spans the width of the vehicle. The Lexus logo has been replaced with the “LEXUS” name emblazoned on the tailgate, creating a simple and more modern look. The look is completed with stylish new optional 20” wheels.
First Lexus Plug-In Hybrid
The halo electrified model in the new NX range features a four-cylinder 2.5-litre hybrid engine and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with 18.1 kWh, the highest capacity in its class. An additional rear electric motor enables full-time all-wheel drive. The plug-in system produces 306 DIN hp and is expected to give 0-60mph acceleration in a little over 6 seconds. EV driving range of in excess of 40miles enable all-electric driving at speeds up to 83 mph. The plug-in benefits from low BIK taxation while offering the reassurance of self-charging hybrid power when the battery is depleted.
Omotenashi Welcome
The door handle lights up to greet you as you approach your car. Once inside, multi-colour ambient lighting allows you to transform the cabin with a palette of 64 atmospheric hues. Omotenashi – an ancient Japanese philosophy rooted in anticipating your needs – is found everywhere. A haven of craftsmanship, the comfort and spaciousness of the beautifully finished interior is also a perfect auditorium for the new 17-speaker Mark Levinson® Premium Surround system. Convenience is also provided by the remote functions using the Lexus Link app, with pre-heating or cooling of the cabin before starting a journey and door locking and unlocking. Luxurious Control
The new NX marks the introduction of the new Tazuna cockpit design. Taking its name from a Japanese word describing a rider’s control of their horse using the rein, it focuses on giving the driver direct, intuitive control of all the instruments around the driver.
Key features include Head-Up Display (HUD) and touch-tracer switches on the steering wheel, which can be customised to the driver’s preferred functions. When the switch is used, its shape is shown on the head-up display, so the driver doesn’t have to look down at the wheel to check the function they want to operate. While the driver experiences the new Tazuna cockpit design, passengers enjoy an increased sense of spaciousness with an elevated level of comfort, quality and attention to detail that are quintessentially Lexus.

Complete Reassurance
Feelings of empowerment and protection are raised to new levels with the improved Lexus Safety System+. Debuting on the new Lexus NX is e-Latch with Safe Exit Assist* electronic entry and exit system. This is linked to the car’s Blind Spot Monitor to warn of any traffic or cyclists approaching from the rear. If it detects a risk, it will trigger a warning light and buzzer, and cancel the door unlatching.
To make life easier, the sense of protection is heightened further with the ability to park the new Lexus NX at the press of a button, scanning the environment around you and even recognising parking spaces you use frequently.
