BRAVE DESIGN

QUADRUPLE LED HEADLIGHTS

With no need for a combustion engine, the RZ’s bonnet is lower with air intakes reduced. The bold Lexus signature spindle shape is applied three dimensionally resulting in a newer, simpler form. Sleek quadruple LED headlights integrate with the spindle body to create harmony and unity.

SIGNATURE BLADE LIGHT 

A sophisticated high tech rear includes an elongated LED light bar across the width of the car. The sharp, minimalist look gives the impression of simplicity and precision, underlined by the distinctive new Lexus badge.

BI-TONE BODYWORK 

Enhanced design flexibility has allowed more muscular front wings to be produced. The effect is heightened by an optional bi-tone bodywork which extends the contrasting black area from the roof to the bonnet.

POWERFUL SILHOUETTE

The car’s side profile flows towards the rear creating a powerful silhouette and wide stance. The rear section emphasises the car’s comfortable space and strong driving capabilities. A longer wheelbase adds to the impact, expressing the low centre of gravity and excellent balance.

IMAGINATIVE TECHNOLOGY

HIGH DEFINITION TOUCHSCREEN

Perfectly positioned for relaxing interaction while you drive, the 14” High Definition touchscreen is one of the largest available, allowing you to smoothly access information such as navigation, audio and climate control.

MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY

The 7” colour TFT (Thin Film Transistor) display keeps you informed about all key data including safety warnings and navigation directions. The display will also adjust its look and content depending on which mode you choose.

OMOTENASHI WELCOME / AMBIENT LIGHTING

Ambient illumination offers a rich experience while driving. The recommended 14 pre-set curated moods and up to 64 ‘self select’ colours represent the emotions and feelings experienced when viewing beautiful natural phenomena. In addition, the world’s first Inei illumination changes the shade of lighting projected on to the door trim ornament when the doors are opened and closed, adding new flair to the interior space.

DIMMABLE PANORAMIC ROOF

The optional, instantly dimmable panoramic roof increases the feeling of space and light in the cabin. Its glass reflects infrared radiation and reduces heat on sunny days, while helping keep warmth inside the cabin in cold weather.

PIONEERING SAFETY

E-LATCH WITH SAFE EXIT ASSIST*

A smooth, one-touch electronic door release system is linked to the car’s Blind Spot Monitor to provide Safe Exit Assist. This cancels the door opening if vehicles or cyclists are detected approaching from the rear.

ACCIDENT PREVENTION

The Lexus Pre-Collision System allows more potential accidents to be avoided, such as at night or with cut-in traffic. It can also recognise collision risks with oncoming traffic or crossing pedestrians when making a turn at a junction. The ability to avoid an impact is increased by Emergency Steering Assist.

360° VISION

Choose the option of a Digital Panoramic View Monitor* providing a live 360° picture around the car and pre-recorded view underneath. It also creates a virtual 3D image of your car, showing the vehicle as if seen from above, with on-screen guides to assist close quarter manoeuvring.

SOVEREIGNTY ON EVERY JOURNEY

DEDICATED PLATFORM

A new e-TNGA platform is the foundation for delivering the Lexus Driving Signature. The platform is incredibly strong but light, with the battery integrated into the chassis beneath the cabin. This lowers the car’s centre of gravity, securing better balance, handling and response.

TAZUNA COCKPIT

The RZ adopts the Tazuna cockpit, inspired by the Japanese definition: small adjustments of the reins a rider uses to control the horse. Due to the precise positioning of controls and displays, there are only small hand and eye movements required by the driver to operate the vehicle.

ONE MOTION GRIP

This world first, creates an enhanced relationship between human and machine via electrical signals, not mechanical linkage.

Optional One Motion Grip steer-by-wire system with steering yoke reduces hand-over-hand turns and blocks out unnecessary vibrations from the tyres and brakes achieving impressive vehicle manoeuvrability and confidenceinspiring performance.

BUILD TO PERFORM

NEW SUSPENSION

A newly developed MacPherson strut type system offers excellent linear responsiveness to steering inputs. The Lexus-first ‘Frequency Reactive Damper’ piston delivers improved ride comfort and handling stability.

ELECTRIC E-AXLE

Lexus e-Axle are used at the front and rear to offer all-wheel drive. They operate in conjunction with the DIRECT4 all-wheel drive control system to adjust the vehicle’s posture, traction and power distribution, according to the driving conditions. The front motor produces 150 kW and the rear 80 kW.

CHARGING AND RANGE

Incorporated with low-loss battery technologies, the Lexus RZ has an indicative range of 251-271 miles depending on derivative*. High-output charging capability and battery warming system allows for the charging of batteries in a short time, even in the winter and in colder regions. Improved battery control technology ensures the capacity retention rate (in testing retained capacity was 90% in the equivalent of 10 years usage) and allows customers to confidently drive the vehicle for long periods of time.

ULTRA-FAST DC CHARGING (150KW)

Ultra-fast public chargers can be found in a number of locations. You can use Zap Map to find your nearest one. These highly efficient chargers are estimated to help you recharge 80% of your RZ battery capacity in approximately 25 minutes**.

FAST AC CHARGING (7KW)

Using a 7kW wall box can reach full charge in approximately 10 hours 15 minutes**. Public chargers can be found in carparks and workplaces, you can even install one at home.
