As you press ‘power’ and grip the carefully crafted steering wheel, the unique character of the first Lexus EV (electric vehicle) becomes apparent. Take to the streets and you’ll quickly delight in its swift linear acceleration and confident cornering. Sharing the striking urban looks of all UX models, it’s powered by an advanced electric motor delivering 150 kW (204 DIN hp) and 300 Nm of almost instantaneous torque.

BRAVE DESIGN
From its dramatic Lexus ‘signature grille’, to the sporty silhouette and 18" alloy wheels, the new UX EV takes a brave new approach to electric car mobility. For a driver-focused environment that feels open yet secure, its luxury cabin is inspired by the Japanese architectural concept of ‘engawa’, where the boundaries between the inside and outside are apparently seamless.
TAKUMI CRAFTSMANSHIP
To ensure world-class quality, the UX EV is built at our award-winning Kyushu plant alongside our other electrified vehicles, with production overseen by ‘Takumi’ master craftspeople. Attention to detail is everywhere, from the beautiful hand-sanded paintwork, to the cleanroom assembly of electric motors, to the leather seats that are inspired by the traditional Japanese quilting technique of ‘sashiko’. Before shipping, each UX EV is checked and checked again for perfection.
EV PERFORMANCE
Driving the new UX EV, you’ll enjoy both agility and very precise steering. This confident feeling pays tribute to the car’s low centre of gravity combined with the extra rigidity of the reinforced chassis and battery unit. To tune your EV to suit your mood, just explore the dynamic possibilities of Drive Mode Select. Or dial up your favourite driving style using one of four deceleration modes.
BATTERY TECHNOLOGY
The UX EV has a driving range of up to 186 miles (WLTP)* between charges depending on driving conditions. When connected to a home AC charging station 3 pin pug, it takes 7 hours^ to fully charge the battery. If you are using a DC (direct current) charger this can be as quick as 50 minutes^ for 0-80% state of charge.

SEAMLESS CONNECTIVITY
While the 13-speaker Mark Levinson audio system creates a peerless concert-like soundtrack, the UX EV Touch Pad lets you control the 10.3-inch Lexus Premium Navigation and Lexus Link connected services app. Intuitive to use, Lexus Link offers practical electric car features like remote charging, remote air conditioning and a charging station finder for when you need to plug in your UX EV.
ADVANCED SAFETY
The UX EV is equipped with the latest Lexus Safety System +, which includes: a Pre-Collision System, now with pedestrian detection at night and cyclist detection during daylight hours; Lane Tracing Assist that helps you stay on course; Adaptive High-beam System (AHS) to help drivers recognize pedestrians and road signs more clearly at night; Road Sign Assist that recognises traffic signs; and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
