EXTERIOR

THE TRIDENT 

The Quattroporte states assertiveness from the very first encounter. The Trident is presented on the front grille and the Maserati logo embedded in the hood.

AIR VENTS

The three-blade design of Maserati's signature wing air ducts perfectly reflect Quattroporte's aggressive delicacy.

TAILLIGHTS

Quattroporte's Maserati attitude is stated front to back. The "boomerang" shaped rear lights pay tribute to another epic model from the Maserati family: the 3200 GT designed by Giugiaro. 

DOORS

Grand entrances don't need to be overstated. The standard Keyless Entry and the Door function make accessing the Quattroporte always a smooth experience.

ZF eight-speed automatic transmission

One-to-one engagement.

The advanced design of the ZF eight-speed automatic transmission ensures precise gear changes and optimum performance, putting the power of the Quattroporte engines under your complete control. Thanks to autoadaptive software, the transmission modifies its shift patterns according to driving style, for an even more rewarding, one-to-one driving experience. And when it comes to long, high-speed journeys, the last two gears, seventh and eighth, are specially calibrated to reduce fuel consumption and further increase comfort. The transmission sends power to the rear wheels of all Quattroporte versions via a standard mechanical Limited- Slip Differential (LSD). This ensures superb traction even in challenging situations. For maximum driver engagement, there are five operating modes, selected using the buttons near the gear lever: Auto Normal, Auto Sport, Manual Normal, Manual Sport, and ICE (Increased Control & Efficiency) mode. Upshifts are all automatic unless a manual mode is selected.

Suspension, steering & brakes

Precision and balance.

Suspensions: double wishbone and Skyhook

Double wishbone suspension layouts are a race-bred tradition at Maserati. The Quattroporte also features Skyhook suspension, with shock absorbers delivering continuous damping variation. The system uses sensors that monitor the movement of each wheel and the car’s body to determine the road conditions and how the car is being driven. It then instantly adjusts the settings of each damper accordingly.

Electric Power Steering

The system adapts the steering weight according to speed, being lighter and easy to turn when manoeuvring in a tight spot, for instance. Conversely it has a weightier, more connected feel at high speeds. All Quattroporte versions feature EPS as standard.

Brakes


All versions of the Maserati Quattroporte feature powerful Brembo brakes carefully matched to engine performance. The discs are dual-cast, combining the strength of cast iron with the lightness of aluminium to reduce unsprung mass and, therefore, increase handling prowess.

Infotainment and APP connectivity

Innovation for a connected world.

The interior of the Quattroporte is built around a driver interface that is intuitive, uncluttered and simple to use. The instrument cluster features large analogue gauges for the tachometer and speedometer, alongside a 7” TFT display. The 8.4” Maserati Touch Control Plus (MTC+) unit takes pride of place at the centre of the Levante dashboard. With very few buttons plus a highly responsive interface, it is designed to help the driver maintain focus on the road ahead and mastering it is intuitive and easy. In addition, MTC+ controls the front seat heating, as well as the ventilation, steering wheel heating and the operation of the rear sunblind, where fitted. The screen also displays the rear view, with guidelines, for the reversing camera. The state-of-the-art system features both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® mirroring functions. In addition, for iPhone® users, Apple’s Siri® system acts as a personal assistant, allowing them to carry out tasks using voice command. Through naturally spoken language, it is possible to make a call or access music, messages, reminders, emails, websites and much more. The infotainment system is also completed by Aux-in, USB sockets and the SD card reader.

Harman Kardon Premium Sound System

Virtuoso performance. 


The Harman Kardon Premium Sound system, fitted as standard, offers elevated levels of audio refinement, with every component uniquely tailored to perfectly match the Quattroporte interior. To achieve this, Harman Kardon sound engineers worked very closely with the development team at Maserati. The core of the system is a state-of-the-art, 900-watt amplifier, delivering rich and detailed sound quality, whatever the source, be it radio, MP3 player, iPhone® or audio streaming device. No fewer than 12 independent channels are deployed, for superb balance within the car environment. A special high-performance subwoofer handles the low-end frequencies with ease, while the mid-range drivers and tweeters ensure that every instrument and every artist can be appreciated to the full. And with the 10 highpowered speakers carefully distributed throughout the cabin, this system guarantees sublime sound for all on board the Quattroporte.

Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound system

Your own concert hall. 

Driving a Maserati is an emotional experience, with every piece of technology and every trim detail designed to connect on a human level. The same can be said of the Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound system. This optional audio package is the product of 50 years of Bowers & Wilkins’ countless hours of testing and even extensive research in the field of psychoacoustics – the science of how people react emotionally to sound. 15 speakers, with mid-range drivers and rear-woofers made from Kevlar®, have been strategically built into the car’s architecture, while a 1,280-watt amplifier ensures immersive sound for all on board. Advanced aluminium tweeters capture the faintest audio subtleties, while a rock-solid bass is guaranteed by Rohacell® in the system’s bass drivers – Rohacell® being a stiff, highly resilient material often used in the construction of rockets and aircraft. The system features QuantumLogic™ Surround Sound Technology, which digitally remodels signal streams and reconstructs the original recording of a musical piece, creating a concert hall experience in the car. Along with this, the Clari-Fi function automatically restores detail lost in digitally compressed music, and removes distortions caused by the process in real time. The Bowers & Wilkins system is compatible with most disc formats and features a built-in USB connector for a smartphone, iPod or MP3 player. Alternatively, tracks can be streamed directly either via Bluetooth®, Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto®.

Full-LED Adaptive Matrix Headlights


With anti-glare high-beam assist.

The Quattroporte is fitted with Full-LED Adaptive headlights that even further sharpen the striking Maserati look, significantly improve visibility and lower energy usage. They also offer remarkably long bulb life. With 15 LEDs operating at full beam, these headlights offer a 200% greater field of vision than traditional halogen lights. Road illumination extends by 55 metres and bulb longevity is roughly twice as long. What’s more, glare-free technology enables drivers to gain the full benefits of their headlights without affecting oncoming vehicles. This uses a digital camera behind the rear-view mirror to detect approaching vehicles. The headlights also feature the Adaptive Driving Beam. This automatically adjusts the width and depth of the headlight beams, giving maximum lighting effectiveness and optimal safety. This is made possible by a camera mounted in the rear-view mirror and sensors that monitor several different parameters, including the steering wheel position, the car’s speed and the way it is being driven.

When it comes to comfort and convenience, the Maserati Quattroporte is equipped to meet every need – as befits a large, luxurious performance sedan.

Climate Control with Air Quality Sensor

The standard automatic dual-zone climate control adjusts ventilation intensity according to outdoor temperature to make sure nothing compromises your comfort, whatever the weather. As an option, the Quattroporte can be equipped with a four-zone climate control system, with two more controls in the rear part of the central tunnel allowing passengers to select their own personal settings and individual airflow distribution.

Keyless go / Keyless Entry

The standard Keyless Entry function enables you to open the doors or boot via the handles, without touching the key fob. But the best is still to come; marvel as the engine roars into life the moment you press the ignition button.

Power Tailgate with Kick Sensor

The power tailgate can be opened and closed automatically by simply pressing a button on the tailgate itself or the interior dome light panel. There is also a kick sensor, which is particularly handy when your hands are full.

Glasswork


The Quattroporte offers, as standard, the electrochromic door mirrors, which darken progressively as the light intensity from behind increases, as well as a power rear sunblind. It also has high thermal and noise insulation glass in the front and rear windows. Dark-tinted privacy glass at the rear is available as an option.
