Its Diesel 48V powertrain blends the strength of a 2.8‑litre diesel engine with the added support of an electric motor‑generator, delivering smoother acceleration and more confident performance off‑road. Smooth and confident, the Hilux’s electric motor‑generator works in harmony with the diesel engine to deliver responsive power across every terrain. Its capability goes even further with Multi‑Terrain Select, which automatically adjusts performance settings to suit a wide range of surfaces for greater control and confidence off‑road.
