If you are involved in an accident, all you need to do is follow the steps below.
Keep safe
If anyone is injured or the road is blocked, dial 999 immediately. Ensure that everyone is safe, if possible and safe to do so, switch your hazard lights on, and set up your car’s warning triangles (where available) to alert other road users of the accident.
Exchange details
However small the incident may be, you need to ensure you swap full details with all relevant parties. If anyone is injured, if the road is blocked, or if someone will not provide insurance details, you must report this to the police.
Record what has happened
Always make sure you record as much information as possible about the accident (for example, you could take photos).
Once you have completed the above, call our Toyota Accident Care team who will support you throughout the entire claim journey until you are reunited with your Toyota.
