Charles Hurst marks biggest Northern Ireland ‘Cars & Coffee’ event yet

Charles Hurst Group partners with NI Pancreatic Cancer for supercar showcase

Charles Hurst Group is celebrating a record turnout and an unprecedented supercar line-up at its iconic ‘Cars & Coffee’ charity event after welcoming almost 1,000 motoring enthusiasts, fundraisers and volunteers to its Belfast headquarters on Boucher Road.

The hugely successful free-to-attend event took place on Saturday 18th April in warm sunshine, as revellers enjoyed a welcoming, buzzing atmosphere and raised £2,100 for this year’s chosen charity – Northern Ireland Pancreatic Cancer. Charles Hurst will increase this total to £3,000, supporting the charity’s work to raise awareness, fund research and help local people affected by this devastating disease.

Last year, Charles Hurst partnered with Cancer Fund for Children, while Dementia NI joined forces with the Charles Hurst team in 2024.

First launched in 2019 with Charles Hurst Ferrari, the event brings together car lovers from across the region to enjoy an unrivalled display of some of the world’s most recognisable supercar brands, including Maserati, Ferrari, Bentley, Lamborghini, Aston Martin and McLaren, showcasing decades of motoring prowess, luxury and style.

Spearheaded by Northern Ireland’s largest car retailer, this year’s ‘Cars & Coffee’ event celebrated the largest display of Ferrari models yet – including the Ferrari SF90 XX Spider and Stradale, the Ferrari 812 Competizione and Ferrari 812 Competizione Aperta, alongside the Ferrari 250 Short Wheel Base.

Other jaw-dropping marques included the Maserati 150 S, Aston Martin F1 Race Car and Bentley’s Flying Spur Speed Ombre by Mulliner.

Jeff McCartney, Group Operations Director at Charles Hurst, said:

"Cars & Coffee is one of our biggest community-focused highlights of the year and we were thrilled to mark our biggest and best event yet with a record crowd and participation from car owners from right across the island who enjoyed an electric atmosphere, great fun and good weather.

Since its foundation in 2019 with Charles Hurst Ferrari, we’re thrilled that this event continues to grow year-on-year and now includes all specialist brands, creating yet another compelling reason for car lovers to visit the Boucher Road retail complex.

I’m really grateful for the support of our staff, volunteers and our charity partner NI Pancreatic Cancer for making the event such a success and delighted that together we raised vital funds for one of Northern Ireland’s most-deserving charities."

Ivan McMinn MBE, Chair of NI Pancreatic Cancer, said:
"We were thrilled to be chosen as Charles Hurst’s charity partner for the event which provided not only a vital fundraising opportunity for us but a unique opportunity to raise awareness about our work to improve the outcomes of pancreatic cancer, and provide support to patients and their families and I’d like to thank our team and volunteers and to everyone who supported us on the day.”

Other partners this year included Belfast’s Neighbourhood Café and Smoke BBQ, and Lisnasure Farm ice-cream based in Donaghcloney.
