Jaguar Land Rover has announced that three of their vehicles will feature in the new James Bond film Spectre. The Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations team have provided director Sam Mendes with three of their most powerful and stunning vehicles for the 24th Bond film which is set to be released in November this year.
The stunning Jaguar C-X75 concept car, said to be the most advanced Jaguar ever created will feature in the new film in a car chase through the streets of Rome alongside the classic Aston Martin DB10. Also set to feature in the film is the fastest and most powerful Land Rover ever – the Range Rover Sport SVR, and the Defender Big Foot. Heavy modified versions of the Land Rovers have already been used to film scenes in Austria. The 'Big Foots' which are built by the Special Operations team are extremely capable of crossing the toughest of terrain, they have 37-inch diameter tyres and also feature bespoke suspension systems and enhanced body protection.
Jaguar Land Rover vehicles have now featured in a host of James Bond films bringing together two iconic British names on the big screen. The rugged Defender 110 Double Cab Pick Up featured in the opening scene of the last Bond film Skyfall when it was driven by agent Ms. Moneypenny as she chased down a black Audi through the streets of Istanbul.
