The Nissan Qashqai has added another major accolade to its growing list of honours, taking home the Best Family Car title at the RAC New Car Awards 2026, ahead of its 20th anniversary celebrations later this year.
Nissan's pioneering crossover was put through a comprehensive evaluation by the RAC's expert review team, who assessed vehicles across seven key categories: value for money, running costs, safety, practicality, ride and handling, interior and technology, and performance. Following this assessment, the Qashqai was recognised as one of the standout hybrid SUVs on the market and an excellent choice for family drivers across the UK.
